On a festive 4th of July afternoon at Tanner House in Aurora, the Kiwanis Club of Aurora handed-off to the Aurora Historical Society an information packed time capsule. Kiwanis historical archivist Cheryl Vonhoff placed the final rounds of duct tape to seal the club's history box. The box will be opened in the next century, 2116. AHS Executive Director John Jaros received the box for storage in the society's history center. More photos are available for viewing at the Photo Gallery.
As one of 8,500 clubs in 90+ countries, the Kiwanis Club of Aurora is proud to serve. Focusing on issues involving children, while at the same time supporting our community in many other ways.
