Kiwanis' sponsored Aurora Boys Baseball Major league team member Christian Mendoza was the 2017 recipient of the "Bernie Dolan Award" ...having the most spirit, hustle and dedication... pictured here  along with his coach who presented it. 

Breaking Free Shares at Kiwanis - 08/01/2017

On August 1, Teddi Krochman of Breaking Free provided the club with an update. Breaking Free provides high quality education, prevention and counseling services focused on drug and alcohol abuse, child abuse, family relationships, mental health and wellness. She also shared background on the heroine/opioid crisis.

Kiwanis "One Day" Highlights Community Service - 04/08/2017

Kiwanis members serve their communities all year long, but the excitement for service really builds in April of each year. Kiwanis members come together for Kiwanis One Day - a day of community service that is felt around the world. This year date was April 8.

The “One-Day” objective is to unite volunteers to participate on the same day in a hands-on service project to better our community. This year, there were over 350 volunteers who helped remove trash from in and around the Fox River, north and south of downtown Aurora. The goal for the Fox River and nearby Fox Valley Park District locations was to have as many dedicated volunteers come together once again...
